Our non-profit organization is committed to educating others to help reduce the rate of suicide. We believe that suicide is preventable through education and bringing awareness. Since we value education and believe it is key, we are just about ready to start an endowed scholarship to help a Leeward Coast college student studying the Arts. Part of our fundraising efforts go to support the Hawaii Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and building our scholarship fund.
Jadean and Janel both have been active helping with the Hawaii Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s annual fundraiser as well as speakers at the AFSP’s Out of the Darkness Walk. They became trainers to teach youth suicide and bullying to children as young as sixth grade. We will continue to gain more knowledge and training to help us continue to save lives as more and more opportunities arise.
